How can you create full time income from a tiny software?
It’s my birthday and I’m going to give you a life changing gift!
I want to give you a free pass to join a program I’ll be putting together soon.
Truthfully, I’ve not been this excited in a long time – actually the most I’ve been since starting my online journey over 5 years ago!
Obviously, I can’t make any income claims or promise you can achieve anything but I’m jumping in with both feet.
How do software companies get started?
Most software companies get started the same way as any other business.
You become a star programmer, create a killer program, talk to a VC, get millions and hire a ton of programmers.
After about 5 years, if you’re lucky, you start being profitable.
That’s how I started my company back in 1998 – Newlix Corporation
I created a killer piece of software, we started the company, then got 6 million in funding and hired 20 developers.
However, in 2001 we had to shut it down
What’s the real winning formula?
Imagine starting your own software company without all that craziness.
What if you didn’t need to become a programmer?
What if you didn’t need to invest millions (or find a VC)?
Did you now that Microsoft started with a program that Bill Gates bought from someone else for pennies?
You can do that too… you just need a great idea
How to find your great idea?
You’re probably thinking that you don’t have any ideas, right?
What if I told you it was the easiest part of this whole process?
Finding an idea for a piece of software is the simplest thing you can do.
You can just google it and see what others are searching for…
Or you can look in the chrome store for popular extensions that are no longer supported…
There are even web sites dedicate to giving you ideas.
Getting the software created
Now I bet you’re thinking, ok great, I got an idea, how do I get it created?
I’m no programmer!
I can’t spend years learning to program!
And what about the backend servers or the source code hosting or the testing when there are changes???
OMG, it’s crazy, there’s so much to learn…
Am I right? Is that what you’re thinking?
What if I told you that you can find someone who will create your great idea extension for pennies?
And I can show you where and how to find that person!
Releasing the software
Now that you’ve got the software created, you need to get it out there.
You need to have it available for people to install and use.
You can start by just sending a ZIP file to your friends but if you want to scale, that won’t work.
It’s good to test it out and get feedback, but to scale, you’ll want to make sure it gets added to the Chrome store.
Getting subscribers and sales
The last piece of this puzzle is to actually get sales.
It might not be too complicated and not super costly to get it created but if you can’t get sales, there’s no success.
Just like any other online business, you need to understand a lot of things to get those sales.
If you know about personal branding and attraction marketing, you’ve got it mostly understood and you know what it takes.
What if I told you there was a way to short circuit that process?
The know, like & trust factor that you need to create over months and years of daily content on social media is one way to go for sure…
But who has 2-5 years to grow their audience?
I’ve been working with Kim C. Dang and learning all about her process to go from zero to hero in the chrome extension world.
My goal is to have my first plugin live in the next 12 days, so by Feb 12th, first subscribers by Feb 20th and $2k sales by end of March 2021.
Stay tuned here as I will be reporting progress as I move forward.
