How to structure your course different ways and make more money?

It’s pretty obvious that we are all (well almost all) in it to make money.

We create courses to sell them and generate income.

Why would anyone read “course income secrets” if it’s not to make money, right?

I know, I know, it’s not just about making money.

Why making money isn’t enough

As much as we all need money to make the world go round, doing something just for the money is doomed to failure.

There’s lots of reasons for that, one of which some would say is voodoo, and that’s the law of attraction.

Others call it the science of quantum physics.

No matter if you believe it or not, it’s hard to argue with the statistics.

95-99% of business fail unless their primary goal is helping others.

What does helping others have to do with it?

Well, I’m not going to go into crazy philosophical or spiritual discussions but suffice it to say that if you’re only in it for you, many forces out there will try real hard for you to fail.

It’s just how it goes.

Just accept it as a fact, make helping others your priority and you’ll get the success you deserve and want.

How to make more money with your course?

Okay, let’s get into the actual topic of today.

How do you structure your course differently to make more money?

There are two ways to deliver the same content differently so you can generate more income.

First is the medium – so like an e-book, a printed book, an audio, a video, a CD, a DVD, etc… the same content in a different consumable.

Second is the structure or the content

What are the three structures of delivery?

As Russell Brunson describes in his book Expert Secrets, you can deliver the same content on different mediums but also with different intents.

The three levels of delivery are:

  1. Do it yourself
  2. Do it with you
  3. Do it for you

In each of these deliveries, you teach the same thing, you just go deeper in the content at each level.

For example, the do it yourself might just be a simple e-book or a 30 minute video explaining your process so they can do their own google searches to fill in the blanks but they can accomplish it themselves.

In the do it with you delivery, you’d add a lot more details – perhaps do 5-10 60 minute videos for each of the steps with example and case studies.

The do it yourself might be free or less than $25 but the “do it with you” would be $100 to $1000 perhaps.

Conclusion

You can also deliver it as a “do it for you” either as a service they pay for or as a live master class where they can share their screen and you do it for them by guiding them live.

BTW, you could record those live master class lessons and create the “do it with you” version from it as an online course.
