How can you start your own multi-million software business with just one hundred dollars?

Imagine having your own multi-million dollar software business!

Wouldn’t it be amazing?

Even if you have no programing skills or no business background, it’s possible for you to start with as little as $100!

I am super excited to be starting on that journey myself!

Imagine your own software company

It’ quite the thing to have your own business, but everyone wants a software company.

I mean, it’s low overhead costs once your have the software to sell is a thousand times better than inventory and storage costs.

Imagine owning a t-shirt printing company, you’d need to stock up on a bunch of different colored shirts and sizes.

Or a restaurant with all that goes with staffing and food waste management.

Not to mention a location to store any stock or receive customers.

With a software company, you don’t need any of that.

You can sell it at $10, $1000 or $10000 and it just costs you pennies to copy and send to customer!

It’s the best business you can have!

Wait a minute – I’m not a programmer!

I know, you’re thinking that I’m a programmer, so it’s easy for me but you can’t do this…

What if I told you that YOU CAN DO IT TOO!

Even if you have zero programming knowledge or even zero software industry understanding!

It’s possible for YOU to do it too!

How can you do it too?

I know, it sounds crazy to say and you’re probably thinking it’s easy for me to say because I’m a programmer.

But I’m very serious and I’m even going to teach you how.

All you really need is an idea.

There are literally thousands of new chrome extensions being created every month.

In your day to day activities, there are tons of things you use your computer for that you could use an extension for.

Think about it, what do you do every day, that takes you some time, could be 30 seconds or 5 minutes, that if you didn’t have to do would save you a ton of time?

Where can you find your idea?

That’s the question, isn’t it?

There’s a lot of places you can search for ideas.

You could do a google search for best chrome extensions

Which would give you ideas of what’s already out there…

You might think of something similar or simpler than those

Keep in mind that you could even create an extension that already exists, even an exact duplicate in functionality and that could be your business.

You can also look in the Chrome Store or on chromeflix.net

Hiring your programmer

The next big hurdle is to get a programmer that can do it for you.

It might surprise you that you can get a simple chrome extension built for you for as little as $100.

Personally, I was able to get my first extension built for only $100 by a programmer I found in Russia.

There are many sites where you can find these rare gems.

I know I wouldn’t work for $100 to do this but the world is a big place and many of those that live where the cost of living is low are very bright.

You just need to know how to identify them and where to find them.

You can go to web sites like fiver.com, upwork.com or odesk.com to name a few.

You can also post in Facebook groups

Getting your chrome extension published

After your programmer creates the extension for you, it’s a simple matter of adding it to the chrome store so that people can find it.

That process is relatively simple so I won’t bore you with that here.

I will say it’s basically getting an account created in the google developer portal and paying a small (currently $5) to be able to publish an extension.

Of course, you’ll need a logo, some screenshots and the text to describe your extension.

You might also want to include a video showing users how to use it.

Having paying members

The real secrets of a successful chrome extension business is selling it.

You might think that no one would pay for these because there are plenty of free options.

The truth is there will always be people willing to pay.

For one thing, there are the “Gucci buyers” – those who always prefer buying the best and they automatically assume if it’s expensive it must be the best.

Those are the one you want to target but you can also go after the one who just don’t like free.

Some won’t use free software for many reasons

  • They worry there’s a virus or trojan horse in it
  • They find support to be lacking with free stuff
  • They don’t want any ads in their software
  • They want to be able to contact support for issues
  • They want to connect with others using it

As you can see, you can build a business around that

Conclusion

There are some other things you need to know about of course but it’s all very manageable.
