How to update your profile picture everywhere on Social Media!

So you’ve decided to change your profile picture but you have it everywhere!

I just did that last week.

I changed my profile picture on Facebook, but nowhere else.

Now, I need to change it everywhere.

Being congruent

So, what’s the big deal?

Why not have a different picture on each platform?

Well, of course you can, but if you are trying to build a business online and you are using attraction marketing with personal branding, then you should use same image everywhere.

Why you ask?

To de congruent… that means the same.

When someone finds you in one platform, you want them to know you’re the same person on the other.

For example, when I message someone on TikTok and then send them a friend request on Facebook, I want them to easily identify me.

Facebook

On Facebook, you go to your profile and click your profile picture and then select Update Profile Picture

Then you upload a photo from your computer and can zoom in to select what people see in the little circle.

You can also just edit the existing profile picture by clicking the little edit icon.

LinkedIn

In LinkedIn, it’s as easy as going to your profile and clicking your picture and then Change Photo.

Then click Upload Photo and finally set zoom.

Twitter

Go to your profile and click Edit Profile.

Then edit icon on picture to upload new one

Finally set the zoom

Instagram

On Instagram, you go to your profile and click Edit Profile.

Then click the Change Profile Photo link

and finally, you click the Upload Photo and it’s done
