How to setup your WordPress Blog on Click eCourse platform?
Did you know Click eCourse included a free WordPress option for you?
You can setup a WordPress web site right in the platform.
Even with the free account!
Registering your free account
Go to clickecourse.com and register your free account now, then follow these instructions to setup your WordPress web site.
Once you’re on the site, you’ll see a register link on the top right like this:
or on your phone, it will look like this:
which when you click, you’ll see this menu:
When you click the Register link, you’ll see a popup like this:
Enter your email and password and you’ll be sent an activation link via email and you’ll see this:
click link in that email and you’re in!
Getting ready for your WordPress site
Once you have an account and are logged in, you’ll see your profile icon on top right, like so:
Or on your phone, when you click the hamburger menu icon
You’ll see this menu
Either way, click your little profile picture to take you to your account settings.
This is where you can change your profile picture and you’ll notice a blog tab as well.
Before that, you may want to set your username in the Affiliate tab
The default user id might not be what you want in your blog url – so change it now
Creating your WordPress blog
Click on the blog tab, and you’ll see this
Enter the User name you want to use to manage the site (like admin), your email for the admin of the site and a password
Click the button to activate your blog and you will see this:
Once activated, you’ll see the links to your site:
Configuring your WordPress blog site
Now that your site is activated, you need to configure it and start creating content for it.
Click the “Access your blog” link to see what it looks like.
Click the “Manage your blog site” to configure it and add posts.
You can choose any of the thousands of themes or plugins and install them.
