What is the right mindset to build a business online?
It’s not a secret that building a business is not an easy thing.
Building a business online can be easier in some respects but is also harder in others.
I’ve been building my online business for almost 5 years now, longer if you count other ventures.
It’s not easy and that’s why you need to have a certain mindset.
What is mindset anyway?
Let’s first define what I mean by minset.
If you google it, you will find a definition like this:

What I think it really means is this:
what controls your behaviors, actions and feelings through your reactions

You might be wondering how I can say something is controlling our feelings, so let me explain.
How does mindset control our behaviors?
Firstly, our mindset will determine how we act and how we react in situations.
These reactions in turn will affect others around us.
Which in turn affects us too and how we act and react.
It’s a vicious circle as you can see.
In business, as with any difficult activity, we need to prevent negative reactions to help with the outcome.
What about feelings, how does mindset affect that?
I said in my definition that mindset is what controls out behaviors, actions and feelings.
What I mean by that is how our feelings depend on our actions and reactions.
If we react agrily to a situation, we will feel angry and upset.
If we react calmly, we will feel much more at peace even if the situation is bad.
Our feelings are a direct result of our actions and rections.
What mindset do you need to build a business online?
This brings us to business building.
Online or off, building a business isn’t easy and you will run into all sorts of problems.
You need to adopt a mindset of positive outlook.
One of the most important things to learn is to have the abundance mindset.
This means believing that there is plenty of money and success to be had.
I know it’s not the easiest thing to change if you don’t believe that, but trust me when I say that this is one of the most important things to change in your mindset to build a business online.
