What is best Chat bot conversation for your site?
Have you been looking into getting a chat bot on your website or blog?
I’ve been thinking about that for a long time but never really looked into it.
I mean, my experience with ManyChat for Facebook chats was really great.
I loved ManyChat (and still do) but with the changes that Facebook has made with the messenger requirements, I stopped using it.
How do you add chat bot to your web site?
I was super excited when I heard of ConversioBot in my Facebook timeline.
Learn more about it at http://info.ConversioBot.com
I mean, sure, I was skeptical when I first saw the ad, but I checked it out before dismissing it.
What really got me was the lifetime access deal and the unlimited number of bots I could create.
Not sure if it’s still available, but you can check at http://info.ConversioBot.com
How to create the best bot for your site?
Ok, so you want to know what I mean by best conversation, right?
The first thing I did when I got the chat bot software was setup a bot for my blog.
You can check that blog post. I did my first bot live (well recorded it as I did it). You can see what my first impressions were in the blog post Course Income Secrets #175 – Real First Time Demo of ConversioBot software
I was really impressed with the ease of use and features of the chat bot software.
However, what I realized after was that I should create a much simpler chat bot conversation.
This is what it ended up looking like:
Pretty crazy, right?
Why should you simplify your bot chat?
You might be thinking that’s great.
It certainly is ok to have a complex bot because the user will just navigate one path anyway.
The problem is when you need to change something.
I actually spent 3 hours yesterday updating that chat bot and I really don’t want to do that again.
The simplification process for chat bot
So, how did I simplify it?
If you watch the video, you’ll see I talk about these 4 questions you should ask yourself
- What is the goal of the chat bot’s conversation?
- Who is your audience or avatar?
- What is your offer?
- How long after they visit do you want bot to wait?
In a previous post (see Course Income Secrets #177 – How to plan your Chat bot conversation for your site?), I answered question #3 with 4 different offers.
Obviously, I have more than one offer and I’m sure you do too.
However, I realized as I was spending those 3 hours that I really should be thinking as Russel Brunson teaches in the Secrets Trilogy books that we need to have “one thing”
Find your “one thing”
The reason you need to find and define your “one thing” is that you will be able to focus your chat much more clearly.
You’ll get better results because you’ll talk the language around your “one thing” and you’ll get more opt-ins.
What I did is decide which on my 4 offers I wanted to put in this one chat bot.
I chose my 12 critical steps ebook.
And ended up with a bot that looks like this instead
Much simpler and I can always create a different chat bot for my other offers on other pages.
Conclusion
Make sure to watch the video to see how I created this bot.
I also discuss the 4 questions you need to ask yourself.
