What is easiest way to Build Email Know Like Trust?
Many will tell you that email marketing is dead but that’s because they don’t understand it.
Regardless of what anyone thinks about all the emails they get, Email marketing is still the best way to grow your fan base.
Think about it, your true fans are the ones that want anything you send them, but how do they become that?
Sure, you could just be posting on Facebook and let that be the way your followers become fans.
The problem with that is simply that you never know when Facebook will disappear or, worse, shutdown your page!
I know, it’s happened to me when I had 23,000+ followers on my page! Poof – Gone!
Why do you need to use email Marketing?
That’s why you need to use email marketing.
You have no control over your contacts on social media, be it Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok or any other social media platform.
They own the data – they own the contacts – they own you!
This is the most important reason to build an email list, you own that list – no one can take it away from you.
Just like any other method of communication, you need to regularly create content for your list.
What the gurus tell you to do for your list
I’ll be the first to admit that what the gurus say certainly works better.
They’ll tell you that you need to create a series of emails that introduces you and makes your new subscriber want to check the next email in the list.
Problem with that is you need to be an expert story teller and if you’re not, you’ll need to hire someone to write those emails.
I don’t know about you, but when I started, I didn’t have the funds to hire someone to do that.
I ended up writing an introduction to me and my family but it wasn’t really congruent with the opt in the new subscriber used.
What can you do to build know like trust in emails?
If you’ve studied attraction marketing, you’ll know the secret is that all it takes is regular content so your audience gets to know you.
That’s all you need to focus on because the rest, getting them to like and trust you just happens as a consequence on them getting to know you.
As you know, they’ll only buy from you if they trust you and that also happens as a consequence of that.
It should come as no surprise that your emails to your list don’t need to be very complicated, they are just meant for them to get to know you.
So what I do is just use the content of the eBook I’m sending them in the first email, simple right?
The process I use to create a new email list
Some will tell you that you should have a single email list and that’s certainly one way to do it.
For me though, I like to have a list based on the opt in the new subscriber joined.
I create (or use) an eBook with multiple sections in it, like my “The 12 Critical Steps to YOUR Online Success” eBook with 12 sections.
I create a capture page – like the one at http://onlinesuccess12steps.com where they (or you) can enter their email to get the eBook for free. Go ahead and enter your email to join my list but also to see how I’ve done it.
Then I create an aWeber email list with the first email sending them the eBook.
The next emails that go each day after that are each of the steps.
